The Curse of the Heart The feeling is all too recognizable, and once it’s happened to you before you never want it to happen again. You’ll do anything to stop it from happening again, but it probably will.
For her, it was much more than heartbreak, it was more like death, because sometimes it can’t be fixed. Sometimes you let it drag out for too long, and then when the truth finally sinks in; it’s too much to bear.

So yesterday I saw something amazing. Harper Teen is holding a writing contest on myspace. The prize is $5,000, 30 Harper Teen books and a conversation with a Harper Teen writer on the phone.

So I submited, and they let you do so once a week. I have 2 more times i can submit, so Im putting in a short story and another poem most likely. But this is really exciting because I kinda need the money, and I have a friend who needs some $200 dollars which I could loan her.

Also, that means I could pay for 2 years at Harvard, minus the room and board fees.
